Aerospace is a specialised branch of engineering which deals with the design and development of Flying Vehicles such as aircrafts, rockets and space crafts. The course curriculum covers aspects of two branches of engineering - Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering. The course also focuses on new technologies in aviation, defence systems and space exploration. The original term for Aerospace Engineering was Aeronautical Engineering but after the advancement of technology include aircraft entering into outer space the term was replaced to Aerospace Engineering. It comes under engineering courses. It is the demanding and challenging branch of engineering. The department is Accredited by National Board of Accreditation (NBA) under Tier – I for the three academic years, 2023-24 to 2025-26.
