Overview of the Association


  The objective of 'Association of Computer Geeks' is to provide a platform to all the budding software professionals to showcase their talents. The motto of Association of Computer Geeks is “students should bring up themselves to all round professionals with the both technical and managerial capabilities”.
  In order to achieve this goal many events will be organized in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering under the banner of Association of Computer Geeks. This provides a good opportunity for the organizers to showcase their management skills while the participants enjoy the privilege of demonstrating their talents. Under the guidance of this association, intra college technical events, workshops, training courses will be conducted at regular intervals for the advancement of the students.

Membership and Procedure for Enrollment:

  All the students of the department are members of the Departmental Association.
  Membership is valid throughout their graduation for 4 years.
  Membership fee will be decided by the managing committee.


Termination of Membership:

  Managing Committee has reserved right to terminate membership of any student member.


Managing Committee - Powers and Duties of Managing Committee::

  Managing committee comprises of President, Vice President, Treasurer and Secretary.
  Head of the department will be the President
  President has privilege to appoint Vice President, Treasurer and Secretary from the teaching staff.
  Management Committee has reserved right to Schedule or Cancel any event to be organized in the department under the Association banner.
  Managing Committee has reserved right to terminate membership of any student member.


Meeting of the Managing Committee:

  Meetings will be conducted at regular intervals.
  President will schedule the meeting to plan/design the events, review the events conducted and to grant funds for future events etc.


Funds and income of the society or its utilisation:

  Membership fee will be collected from every student member once throughout his/her graduation.
