About Faculty Club

Overview:

   LBRCE Faculty Club came into existence in 1998 with the cherished objective of promoting healthy interpersonal relations among faculty members. Since then, it has served as a common platform for the faculty to maintain a positive and stimulating professional ecosystem by engaging in various types of social interaction and welfare activities. A corpus fund was created with each faculty contributing Rs. 150/- per month that is used to fund various activities.

Organizational Structure:

   All Faculty automatically accorded membership upon joining the institution. However, a small group of faculty form an executive council to manage the regular affairs of the club.

Faculty Club Activities

  1. Celebration of Teachers Day every year & Awards Best Teachers from every Department
  2. Celebration of Engineer’s Day every year and felicitation to an eminent technocrat/Engineer/Teacher
  3. Celebration of Women’s Day
  4. Community get together and Feast organized during the month of Karthika. Members of the Promoter family, Management, Faculty & staff with their families attend this annual event. After the customary puja and other rituals, the attendees partake in feast and various activities of fun and frolic.
  5. Conducts Annual Games and sports events for all faculty and staff annually and sponsors the prizes as well.
  6. Presents gifts to faculty on various social and personal occasions, like annual gifts, on marriages and other functions. Newly Wed faculty gifted Rs. 1500/- from the corpus.
  7. Sponsorship of eye camp organized for faculty & staff.
  8. Donation to the needy with serious ailments, personal tragedies.
  9. Organizes Health camp regularly.
  10. Conducted Heart check up camp in collaboration with Ramesh Hospitals, Vijayawada in Feb, 2015.
  11. Conducts excursions to various places regularly. Faculty with their families toured Pattiseema, Bhadrachalam in the past.
