--> Two Day Workshop on "Enterpreneurship Orientation Program" at LBRCE on 27th & 28th June 2016.

Two- day workshop on “ENTREPRENEURSHIP ORIENTATION PROGRAMME”  was organized by Entrepreneurship Development Cell at Lakireddy Bali Reddy College of Engineering, Mylavaram from 27-06-2016 to 28-06-2016. The purpose of EOP is to create awareness among the students for setting up of new enterprise after completion of their studies instead of searching for jobs only. This programme makes students familiar about process of setting up of Enterprise, preparing Project Reports, Identifying marketing possibilities as well as with the issue regarding various statutory requirements such as Income Tax, VAT etc

This workshop was organized for final year students from all disciplines, with a view to expose students of our institute to entrepreneurship as an alternative career. It was aimed at creating awareness & guidance among students about various aspects of entrepreneurship while highlighting the merits of pursuing such a career option. All students were exposed to different aspects of entrepreneurship including opportunity guidance, services offered by agencies of support system, etc.
The inauguration function of the workshop was held on 27th June, 2016 at 10:00 AM at EEE seminar hall, in the presence of Chief Guest Sri LakiReddy Prasad Reddy, Vice Chairman, LBRCE. The function started with introduction & welcome of all guests by Professor Incharge of EDC, Dr.T.Rajashekar. EEE HOD, Dr.M.Umavani, briefed all about the EOP & its activities along with workshop & its importance. Director, Dr.E.V.Prasad, shared few inspirational stories from his experience to motivate students for building better future. Chief Guest Sri LakiReddy Prasad Reddy, in his brief speech shared his views  towards a successful entrepreneur. Guest of honor Smt. L.Rani, shared extending support to entrepreneurship would be an alternative to handle challenges of unemployment and poverty.

The resource person was drawn from industry who had rich experience in their chosen field.
Prominent speaker Sri. G. SUDHARSAN, (THE NATIONAL SMALL INDUSTRIES CORPORATION LIMITED NSIC-TECHNICAL SERVICES CENTRE, HYDERABAD) has shared their knowledge & experience on various aspects of Entrepreneurship Development during different sessions of the workshop for 2 days.

At the end of concluding session on the 2nd day afternoon, feedback by students & discussion on workshop was held, which was followed by validation functions. Mr. P.Deepak Reddy thanked all students & faculty members for the success of the workshop. Our Director Dr.E.V.Prasad, in his concluding remarks also thanked EDC, EEE & reouse person for their effort put in during the workshop & assured to arrange more such programs beneficial to students in building their future.
